As a Global Communications Strategist, Chimere Cisse draws together over 10 years experience having held senior PR positions at Burberry, Harper’s Bazaar and ELLE. In 2012 noting the ever-increasing partnership opportunities between celebrities and brands, joined boutique agency Unsigned Group working with high profile talent to establish a new digital influencer division for the agency, landed supermodel Helena Christensen the first female cover of Men’s Health UK and worked alongside a mix of organisations including The British Fashion Council, Net-A-Porter and Bill & Melinda Gates’ The Global Fund. Chimere regularly gives interviews on the PR & media industry and has been featured in publications including the Business of Fashion, Tatler and Elle Korea, whilst her fashion and travel writing has been published in Refinery 29, Fucking Young, and Gogo City Guides.
Her editorial production work has appeared in titles from W, Teen Vogue, Vogue Homme, PAPER, Esquire & W Korea, Modern Weekly and L’Officiel amongst others. She has worked with internationally recognised talent including Edie Campbell, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Benjamin Clementine and Naomi Campbell. In addition to her editorial and brand partnership work, Chimere is a frequent industry speaker, sits on the organising committee of the World Voice Gala (British Council) and is a judge at Graduate Fashion Week. She is currently involved in improving the representation of women of colour in media, as well as mentoring young talent of tomorrow. A fervent arts ambassador, she has previously curated photographic exhibitions on behalf of Sony Ericsson and Evian for the Melbourne Fashion Festival and worked for the Venice Biennale. She divides her time between London and New York.
