MARKO MITANOVSKI IS A LONDON BASED SERBIAN DESIGNER. HE GRADUATED FROM THE COLLEGE OF DESIGN IN BELGRADE IN 2009. HIS WORK IS RECOGNISABLE FOR ITS SCULPTURAL AND THEATRICAL FORM WITH DETAILED CONSTRUCTION AND PRECISE GEOMETRY. HE FINDS INSPIRATION IN NATURE, BIRDS, REPTILE SKELETONS, HISTORICAL COSTUMES AND ARCHITECTURE. 

MARKO'S DESIGNS HAVE BEEN SHOWCASED GLOBALLY SINCE HIS APPEARANCE AT FASHION SCOUT IN 2009 INCLUDING: ZAGREB FASHION WEEK (CROATIA), MUSÉO CRISTOBAL BALENCIAGA (GETARIA), PACHA CLUB (IBIZA),  INSIDE/OUT EXHIBITION SHOWSTUDIO (LONDON), STYLE FESTIVAL KUALA LUMPUR (MALAYSIA), LADY GAGA A GOGO EXHIBITION (PARIS), MONTEREY FASHION WEEK (MEXICO) AND VICIOUS (ROME) TO NAME BUT A FEW. 

HIS WORK AS BEEN FEATURED IN LEADING INTERNATIONAL PUBLICATIONS; DAZED, VOGUE.CO.UK, HARPER'S BAZAAR, ELLE, GRAZIA, L'OFFICIAL, WONDERLAND, i-D AND WONDERLAND, AS WELL HAS HAVING HIS WORK PUBLISHED IN BOOKS DISTRIBUTED IN 70 COUNTRIES. 

IN SEPTEMBER 2009 MARKO WAS AWARDED FASHION SCOUT'S COVETED "ONES TO WATCH" AWARD. HE RECEIVED A SPONSORED COLLABORATIVE CATWALK FOR SS16 ALONGSIDE THE OTHER RECIPIENTS, SUPPORTED BY FASHION SCOUT DURING LONDON FASHION WEEK.
