HOW DO WE APPROACH THE INTANGIBLE? SPACE CAN BE DEFINED AS A FREE AND AVAILABLE EXPANSE OR AREA, IN WHICH ALL THINGS EXIST AND MOVE. HOW CAN THIS GIVE BIRTH TO PHYSICAL GARMENTS?

THIS WORK IS A SPATIAL EXPLORATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BODY, OBJECT AND SPACE, AND THE POSSIBILITIES FOR THIS RELATIONSHIP TO BE CONCRETISED IN WEARABLE GARMENTS.

BY ENGAGING IN INTERACTION WITH SPACE-DEFINING ELEMENTS, AS WALLS AND OBJECTS, RELATIONSHIPS ARE DRESSED AND THE PARTICIPATORY BODY ITSELF IS BEING DEFINED.

IN ADDITION THIS WORK SUGGESTS HOW A SHIFT OF APPROACH TO THE BODY, BY WORKING TOWARDS IT RATHER THAN FROM IT, CAN ILLUMINATE THE POSSIBILITY TO EXPAND THE UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT FASHION IS AND CAN BE.

THIS WORK SUGGESTS A CONNECTION BETWEEN EXTERIOR SPACE (SURROUNDINGS) AND INTERIOR SPACE (MIND), WHICH UNDERLINES THE IMPORTANCE OF SPACE EXPLORATION SINCE IT BY EXTENSION BECOMES A WAY TO EXPLORE OURSELVES.
