Doii’s collection had it all. Chunky zips on show, fabric covered buttons, velour brooches and swinging pendulum fabric hearts hanging down the back. Cherry lips and fluffy hair styled with high patent shoes with strips of fabric tied around the ankles in an oversized bow.

This is the first time Doii has showcased in London and her feminine shapes and dazzling prints shone through.

Models shimmered under the lights in a selection of heavily sequined dresses and coats. The colourful array of illustrative and digitally enhanced prints took centre stage though. A maze of roses, flying white doves, net covered skulls, queen goats, playing card people and blossoms amongst a dark forest.

Doii‘s favourite Russian fairytale, Babushka was her inspiration seen through the ruffled sleeves, overlaying net panels and inserts.  Russian royalty in off-white fur lined and edged coats. Dresses were designed with a drop waist, a pleated skirt section and double-breasted jacket. Layered pleated chiffon dresses longer in length at the back, and chiffon bellowing sleeves, layered underneath a scalloped hem slip. The final model strode out wearing a breathtaking large fringed bonnet that covered her face, the fringing swinging with every step.
