Backstage at the Ubuntu International Project 10:45 show was the epitome of animalistic jungle meets the high powered city.

Models stalked hair and make-up, topped with strictly scruffy chignons in straight lines and scouting the crowds through dangerous eyes. Of course, the high class high powered white blouses and wide leg trousers brought them back down to earth to emulate the busy working woman.

Doubled up to make-up the models were duo Lan Nguyen and Jose Bass. The concept? Afro-centric afro-centric afro-centric. Heavy eyes heavily relied on the Body Shop kohl black pencil. The eyebrow palette, used to redefine the outline of the brows post being blocked out with the a concealer, was also doubled up as a cheek highlight and once again the saviour of the Body Shop line up; the illuminating cream was used to give the girls a glow, contradicting their feline faces.

Hair was once again directed by extraordinaire Bill Watson and his team from Toni & Guy. Basing the look from the afro-centric brief; the team translated to the bone to give the girls tight plaits, messy mohawks and scraped back partings whilst the men donned late night early morning mobs. Hero label.m products were once again the gels, hairsprays and mousses to give the models larger that life finishes.
