The look backstage at Baartman & Siegel’s show painted a picture of a modern day teddyboy. Coiffed, slicked back hair pushed away from the model’s faces combined with strong brows emphasised the models’ cheekbones, which were sculpted and shaped by a subtle hint of colour. Fresh faced and exuberant, hair and makeup was a sartorial take on a reworked tradition.
