Have you ever wondered who is creating the photographs, illustrations and graphics that you see on our digital channels? Each Fashion Scout season a digital team is working behind the scenes to bring the insights no one else sees, from backstage, the catwalk and the front row, straight to your phone screens.

The digital team for Fashion Scout SS18 was made up of young creatives, including photographers, graphic designers, illustrators, social media experts and writers. For many the experience exposed the members to the fast paced environment that surrounds London Fashion Week, with the excitement of catwalk shows, backstage and the press room ensuring that the entire team left feeling happy with their new contacts. We caught up with each member to hear what they thought of Fashion Scout Spring Summer 18.

"This SS18 season was my second time working as part of the Fashion Scout Digital Team. Working with Fashion Scout has been such an incredible experience, it has given me the chance to work within the Fashion industry with such an amazing team. I have learnt a lot over the last two seasons and have been constantly inspired by the innovative designers I have had the chance to work next to. I have loved my time working with Fashion Scout and hope to keep working closely with the team in the future."

Alice Jones, Social Media Assistant

"I loved getting the chance to work during London Fashion Week and felt really lucky to be working with such a welcoming, friendly, and talented team. It was fun to work in a fast paced environment and to be able to see such talented designers’ work."

Olivia Spring, Digital Writer

"It was great to work with so many different talented people as part of Fashion Scout during LFW SS18, which really helped inspire the illustrations I produced. I had an amazing time gaining the opportunity to do live illustrations of the shows as the digital graphic designer, gaining incomparable real first hand experience. Thank you Fashion Scout for the opportunity!"

Isabel Watson, Graphic Designer

"I was delighted to be a part of the digital team for this SEASON's Fashion Scout. It was an amazing experience from start to finish and a pleasure to work with such a friendly and talented team of people, as well as getting to photograph behind the scenes of the crazy, colourful and wonderful world of fashion week. Plus, I got to take a Princess' picture which doesn't happen every day!"

Stefan Jakubowski, Event Photographer

"During Fashion Scout SS18 I had the opportunity to collaborate with a multi-talented team, as well as venture into areas I had never encountered, and during one of the most exhilarating events of the year: Fashion Week!  Thanks to the digital team for giving me such a fun and enriching experience.”

Bisi Emeruwa, Streetstyle Photographer

“The Fashion Scout Digital Team has given me the chance to not only further myself as a fashion writer, but to collaborate with likeminded creatives, to produce incredible content! As a part of the Digital Team, we are each given large responsibilities in which we are in charge of working both individually, as well as putting our heads together to cover Fashion Scout events. The Digital Team is a challenging and rewarding way of incorporating our key skills into the work we produce for all to see on the Fashion Scout website, social media, and more. As a team we quickly bonded from our experiences and interests, which made us a close knit team working together. The days are packed with busy schedules, but the excitement, good energy, and positivity within each other keeps us going. This years SS18 team consisted of passionate, and professional creatives, who were an absolute pleasure to work with.”

Maisie Taylor, Digital Writer

'Attending every Fashion Scout SS18 show and presentation was a truly incredible experience that I will always remember as being my first time at Fashion Week. Everyone in the digital team were amazing people to be around and work with, I could not have asked for a better, kinder or funnier group of people to spend fashion week with.'

Emma Mitchell, Social Media Assistant

"Being a part of the digital team for SS18 was a great experience for me. It's so fun to be part of a team and see how much great content we can create during the hectic days. I have gained so many new friends and also had time to do some networking with the designers and the people attending the shows. I have gained new skills within my photography and learned how to work under pressure. The highlight must have been when I shot Miss Fame from Ru Paul's drag race backstage before the incredible Mark Fast show!"
