Fashion Scout is pleased to welcome back Malan Breton, talented luxury designer with a desire to portray the magical and a history dressing the stars. Breton, originating from Taipei, Taiwan, was the first fashion designer to be a part of the cryptocurrency phenomenon, opening the first blockchain based online retail shop in fashion.
Breton's inspirations for SS18 drew from the Edwardians and Victorian era, focusing on the magic darkness of this time and comic book villains. The SS18 collection, titled 'Hades in Darkness' derived from the designer’s roots, including inventive use of traditional Taiwanese patterns, used in both mens and women's collections. Classic tailoring and streamlined shapes lead one look beautifully into the next.
With such a successful previous season, Breton's AW18 collection is eagerly anticipated.
