The streetstyle at Covent Garden during Fashion Scout AW18 as exciting and eclectic as ever. Photographers gathered outside of Freemasons’ Hall to capture attendees as they arrived for each international and innovative show. London is known for it's highly creative cultural melting pot of residents, with originality and pushing boundaries championed in the sartorial choices of the guests as much as in the designers catwalk shows. We've highlighted four of the most expressive guests that attended Fashion Scout's Autumn Winter showcase this February.
The combination of a wide leg pant and a sportswear inspired top make for a unique take on two trends that are everywhere this season. Wide leg Prince of Wales check trousers are paired with a black turtleneck and hooded sweatshirt, high black socks, and black trainers. In contrast to this is a bright white coordinated look that mirrors the former in silhouette. The monochrome white look is completed with a matching white jacket and bright orange belt.
The bright blue, pink, and yellow pastels in this playful ensemble remind us that springtime is right around the corner. By mixing and matching textures and fabrics in a limited range of colours, this outfit feels young and fun but still pulled together. Pink high waited silk pants are paired with a cropped top in a fun retro print and a knit slouchy yellow and blue cardigan. The look is accessorised with a blue belt, multicoloured plastic bangles, and a pink beret and sneakers.
Fashion week in February wouldn’t be complete without an array of exciting outerwear on display. This orange puffy jacket has a unique silhouette, making the jacket look like a coordinated top and skirt. The unusual cut also allows photographers to capture the layers underneath. The look is completed with matching sunglasses, an oversized jumper, and a large striped clutch.
