After a long day filled with amazing shows and innovative designs, INIFD LST added even more vibrancy and colour on to the catwalk. As Nadia Essex sang along to the 70’s mix tape and Olivia Buckland bopped her head to the music, we saw an array of jacquard textiles and bold patterns.

The colour palette was far from Autumnal with shades of yellow, bubblegum pink and lilacs displayed. Pantone’s colour of the year, Ultraviolet, a bold purple shade, was spotted on embellished heeled sock boots. There were aspects of Egyptian influences as we saw tunic style smock dresses, bunched at at the sides and paired with leather weaved accessories. A golden sequinned palm tree was featured on jade green jacket.

Mixing the craftsmanship of the designers and the contemporary twist they have injected into their collections. A stunning multi-coloured patch work coat with golden thread running through it was eye-catching inspiring, a true collection of Asian culture with modern accents.

INIFD’s global presence has been recognised as their new-designers are hand-on and entirely committed to their design which is is shown through their inspiring concepts and skilful techniques. INIFD also uses a unique online learning portal to enrich their students with resources and guides within their chosen design course. The Institute also aims to create a platform for students to be able to share their work. They created their own TV Channel, INIFD TV, so students can showcase their work internationally.
