Founder of Rohmir, Olga Roh’s Autumn/Winter 2017 ready-to-wear collection is a daring mix of classic baroque prints and razor cut tailoring. Celebrating 10 years of high fashion, this ‘Magic Journey’ collection, inspired by Spanish culture, certainly did not disappoint.

Born of Russian nobility, Roh began the Swiss luxury fashion brand in 2007 after studying for her masters at Istituto Marangoni in London and PhD at the University of Bern, in which she graduated magne cum laude for her exquisite and timeless craftsmanship. Influenced by the classic, European fashion houses, many of Olga’s previous collections encapsulates her journeys around Europe: Imperial Vienna, Winter in the Mountains, English Gardens, and a Scottish Collection.

Opulent baroque in grey and gold transformed accentuated flare trousers, tailored vest jackets and capes. Intricate lace underlays, Mongolian sheepskin and velvet flocked chiffon on peplums and ruffled sleeves exuded glamour and luxe. Pearl rimmed cordobes hats, silk flowers in side buns and a flamenco dancer moving with the models flawlessly captured the Spanish vison Roh had for her collection.
