Day Three Street Style Round Up

During the last day of Fashion Scout SS20, we went outside the venue to explore the trends and most interesting elements emerging from our guests’ style.

Despite the displays of creativity on the catwalk and in our presentation space, the extravagant looks of our audience didn’t fail to turn heads.

This season’s looks seem to avoid conformity, aiming towards a more exclusive, made-to-measure look. The boldness of the outfits suits this tendency well, as does the refusal of fast fashion. Fast fashion seems to be the only “trend” to have gotten a foothold around this season’s Fashion Week. Nature-inspired prints were seen around our venue, inspired by environmental causes being embraced by the fashion industry.

Creator and model, Monize Terri told us that “sportswear, too, is very popular this season, and also sportslux (really funky and edgy sportswear) with a hint of tailoring and just a bit more care. Moreover, you can definitely see that the future seems to be very interesting amongst fashion crowds”.

As a final comment on the subject, Terri added: “I wouldn’t call any of these a trend though, as this term asks us to necessarily classify and divide people into categories! Trends are not a trend anymore, the fashion industry is starting to celebrate everyone’s singularity rather than focus on one single trendy piece”.
