Fashion Scout announce partnership with FFWD and FAD Institute of Luxury Fashion & Style Dubai to showcase Lama Jouni during London Fashion Week
Fashion Forward Dubai (FFWD) with FAD Institute of Luxury Fashion & Style Dubai & Fashion Scout have selected Lama Jouni to showcase on the catwalk at Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week A/W 17. The partnership between FFWD, FAD Dubai and Fashion Scout aims to support regional designers at global fashion platforms to attain international visibility. The initiative is part of FFWD’s EPICxSamsung empowerment program, supported by Dubai Design District (d3) and endorsed by Dubai Design and Fashion Council (DDFC).
“FFWD’s EPICxSamsung empowerment program aims to provide Fashion Forward designers and d3 creative partners with opportunities to cultivate their success throughout the year in Dubai, throughout the wider region, in Paris via the FFWD showroom and now in London in partnership with FAD Institute and Fashion Scout. We look forward to furthering our efforts with FAD Institute and Fashion Scout, with the support of d3 and DDFC, to build a supportive infrastructure for regional designers to attain international exposure and streamline their path to commercial viability.”

The winner was selected by a jury comprised of Martyn Roberts, Founder and Director of Fashion Scout & Graduate Fashion Week, Shivang Dhruva, Founder and Director of FAD International, ACIM, FPM, BCS, Alumni Member: London College of Fashion, University of Arts London and Maitha Al Suwaidi: Director of Partner Relations for Dubai Design District.
FFWD apparel designers and d3 creative partners were invited to submit a series of requirements including look books or images from 2 past collections, a description of each and the direction for AW/17 collections.
