Fashion Scout is proud to congratulate Edda Gimnes, the Norwegian Womenswear designer, with her label “EDDA” on her win at the Costume Norge Awards last night, hosted at Oslo, Norway.  EDDA won the Costume Award for Norwegian Designer of the Year. It comes as no surprise that she won, with her larger-than-life aesthetic and fascination for colour and texture.

The digital team for Fashion Scout SS18 was made up of young creatives, including photographers, graphic designers, illustrators, social media experts and writers. For many the experience exposed the team to the fast paced environment that surrounds London Fashion Week, with the excitement of catwalk shows, backstage and the press room ensuring that the entire team left feeling happy with thier new contacts.

SHOW INSIGHT: ELEPHANTASIA

Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week hosted Elephantasia, a catwalk focusing on couture and conservation. Elephantasia, from Fashion for Conservation is a campaign that raises funds and awareness for the poaching crisis and features international designers for each of their seasons. In 2016 Elephantasia started a global tour of their exhibition and campaign across the US, Canada, Spain and Europe, leading up to their final show for Fashion Scout SS18.
