‘There is only one real professional make-up maker. There is only one Kryolan’.

Originating from Berlin, Kryolan has been providing the worlds theatre, film and television industries with high quality make up for over 70 years, making them one of the first professional make-up brands. Their extensive ranges contain over 16,000 make up products and accessories, making Kryolan the number one choice for make up artists globally. Kryolan is unique compared with other make-up brands, professional or otherwise, with their main aim being to meet professional make-up artists’ needs and demands. Their diverse products make Kryolan the perfect brand for Fashion Scout to work with during SS18, allowing each designer to create their ideal looks on the catwalk.

The Kryolan artists created a playful, bold and geometric look for Leaf Xia for her SS18 catwalk. The use of complimentary colours and shapes alongside her horizontal striped rain macs and A-line dresses created a perfect array of patterns and line for the audience to admire. The mis-match of bright colours brightened up the grey weather London encountered over Fashion Scout.

The N&S Gaia show saw Kryolan create unique, and free hand designs on each model using vibrant colours including mauve, green and white. The individual design on each model compliments the North-East Indian technique of hand weaving called Dakmanda that N&S Gaia uses throughout their collections. The make up shown held a creative and calming design concept of nature and femininity.

'Textures, Textiles, and Tradition'- House of Mea’s theme for their SS18 show. Kryolan created these statement looks featuring models wearing opaque masks with bold eyeshadow and contouring, creating a 3D appearance complimenting the oversized structures and asymmetric shapes featured on the runway.

The diverse skill set shown in the designs created by the Kryolan make-up artists present their high quality products and their unbeatable state of the art innovators. The products used are color-true products which work perfectly on stage and on camera, even under HD lighting and filming conditions. Kryolan products have never been tested on animals and are environmentally friendly, making them an ideal partner for Fashion Scout who represent the positive environmental and political changes that are occurring in the fashion industry.

The Kryolan artists were also on hand to show their professional skills to members of Fashion Scout audiences, proving their products are not only stage make up approved but appropriate for everyday use too.
