WELCOME TO WAUZINE

Originating from the streets of Nairobi ‘wau’ means ‘wow’ - not a reserved and quiet 'wow' either but a full Nairobian 'WOW!'

WAUZINE builds on this city's incredible energy and passion to celebrate cross cultural collaborations between young creatives in Kenya and the UK. Featuring the work of 11 upcoming Kenyan designers as well as illustrators, writers, stylists and photographers, WAUZINE is the result of a whole community coming together during COVID-19 to build something special.

Part of the British Council’s Creative DNA programme, and designed and delivered by Fashion Scout and our partners, WAUZINE enables you to discover the freshest talents from Nairobi and London and explore the cultural undercurrents that are shaping all of our futures.
